Staying next door at the Comfort Inn and dropped over for lunch.
The Colossus Burger was one of the best burgers i have ever had...ever!!!
Home made patty.. tons of toppings, and flavour throughout!!
The nice little patio space on a sunny afternoon was perfect! Our server Shaina was super.. friendly, professional and a pleasure to chat with! -

After checking in at the hotel, decided to grab a bit at this local Pub, on a Friday night, the Pub is not particularly busy, as we had no problem finding a table.
As the name goes, "Game On", the interior is surrounded by TV monitors all showing different sporting games.
Our server Shaina, was very friendly and helpful, she took our drink order and then introduced us to the Specials of the Evening. Her cheerful personality really made our dinner / evening most enjoyable! Thanks Shaina!!
Items ordered:
Beef Vegetable Soup: Rich beef broth, with loads of vegetables, slightly on the salty side, otherwise was a good start for our meal.
Steak & Prawns X 2: Both Medium Rare, with Baked Potatoes with the Works, Steak is cooked to perfection and very juicy & tender, paired with our beer, it was just what we wanted for a relaxing delicious dinner!!
While travelling, its always good to eat at a local Pub if you have a hard time deciding, as the food is usually homey and the service friendly! -

We ate at the Game On restaurant TWICE because we were looking for a quick spot to stop off the highway...with good RV parking.
First time, we split the beef cheesesteak with fries. Fries are hand-cut (which is tricky)...and weren't that great (5 out of 10). Baby thought the beef cheesesteak sandwich was an excellent hangover antidote for an 8 out of 10. I would rank it less...though they toasted the white roll quite nicely. The peppers were cut in squares - which made for "pepper loss" when dipping in au jus (an unexpected addition for a cheesesteak sandwich). "Pepper loss" was easily mitigated with a fork.
Second time, we ordered the chicken burger with "black and tan" onion rings. The chicken "burger" was a pounded chicken breast on a sesame seed bun (pickles, onion, tomato, lettuce). Pretty good (7 out of 10)...and the onion rings were great with 8.5 out of 10.
Both times - we enjoyed a Okanagan Springs 1516 (which we quite like).
Service was very nice each trip (with different servers). Food was prompt (even when busy).
3.5 out of 5 would be our ranking.
5 out of 5 for RV parking... -

Great place to catch a game and get quality food. Always consistent, and always decent pub fare. I have eaten here at least 5 times, and haven't ordered anything I didn't like. I'd recommend the fish and chips and the steak and shrimp, as my fav two dishes there, the fish tacos a close third. The atmosphere is homey, and the staff are nice and we'll seasoned.
